I recently took my hard disks in to thave the motor replaced because they were dying and the guy replaced them but I've noticed instead of 2000RPM they at 10000RPM is this harmful for my HDD to be this fast? _________________
First of all, I don't think theres been 2000RPM for a few years now, maybe like 8years ago or more. Also, 10kRPM disk is called "raptor" and theres many out.
My 30GB harddisk is about 8 years old now I originally bought it at 2000RPM till the motors were giving in and were failing then I had some guy fix it for me and he put a faster motor in 10000rpm _________________

Yes. we heard it the first time, go to device manager and under hard drive what does it show?
e.g for me i have WD500AAKS
How much did they charge for the fix? they either bought you a new raptor hdd, or lied to you
