In Australia, what's the best¹ computer you can buy on the shelves?

¹: Highest efficiency and speed at the lowest possible price.

Too lazy (also inexperienced) to build own computer.

nope.
for $1600 you get an 17 920, a no name x58 board, a 4850, 3 gigs of ddr3 1333.
you can get an i7 920, an asus p6t plus, a gtx260 core 216/ 4850x2, and 6 gigs of ddr3 1333.
