How can I apply my C# skills to gaming? Not just trainers.

Sorry but NEVER USE XNA for non 360, it uses C# ( good language ), but more improtantly It uses NET! That means, no win sockets if your networking
So i suggest a libary like:
SDL/Aleggro/OpenGl/DirectX
But Xna is a good starting point< So start there, then move on.
(No offense Overlord).

Err...
.NET has Sockets...
If I'm not mistaken, XNA also has a built in network wrapper.
Also, you could always just use a 3rd party network library (e.g. Lidgren), if you don't want to use the Sockets.

First of all, its Overload. Secondly, I didn't mean pick XNA and stick to it. So just take a deep breath and calm down.
