2-3 gigs of ram is decent enough
Don't know about video card. Maybe a HD4670

RAM is a yes. Your performance will get much better. Just make sure your motherboard can handle it. Mine can only handle 2GBs of RAM max.

he haz 1.4 gig motherboard. He need a new motherboard and maybe graphics card.
