What information is needed? Do I need to give my motherboard model?
Also, what's the difference between DDR SDRAM and those other models? I currently only have a Buffalo DDR SDRAM 512MB

DDR is the predecessor of the now-popular DDR2. DDR3 is out, but less popular for mainstream PCs because of its price (not for too much longer). With your motherboard info, you can find out how large capacity-wise DIMMs (sticks) can be and what speeds are supported.
If you just want to get the memory (not necessarily high-performance), go here and put in your computer/motherboard information. It'll show you what models you should buy.

You will simply have to research which type of busses your motherboard supports. Either PCI og AGP.

AGP or PCI have got nothing to do with the ram, its pretty much dependent on what type of ram slot you have, either DDR, DDR2, or DDR3, just as Karakawe said.

Motherboards that use AGP have DDR ram slots. Mobo's with PCI-E usually have DDR2. I think that's what he's saying :S

I have a PCI-E X16 and I use DDR.
