How can I set it up so that I can drag files over to my other computer that's connected to my internet? I used to be able to do it, but I don't know how anymore. I'm using XP and my other computer is on Vista.

i've have trouble with networking with xp and vista in the past... in xp, you can go to my network places to view the shared folders. make sure that you're in the same workgroup though, or this won't work.

EDIT: read below for more detailed information. i just got outdone, time for to rest my eyes. xD

Alright, go on the XP machine to Control Panel > System. Computer Name tab: Chage your workgroup to something you'll have in common with the Vista machine.
To share a folder: open it in explorer. Right click background > Properties. Sharing tab: tick Share this folder on the network and Allow network users to change my files (you may need to enable file sharing first).

For the Vista computer, go to Control Panel (classic view) > Network and Sharing Center. Under the "Sharing and Discovery" heading, have the first two options selected and the rest not. (Disable "Password protected sharing".) Then go to Control Panel > System, click on "Change settings" near the name information. Change the workgroup to the same thing as on the xp machine.
To share a folder: Open the folder in explorer, right click the background and click Properties. Sharing tab: Click "Share..." and then "Share" (no need to change anything).
