If you buy the camera your PC is still going to lag when you transfer. If you buy the PC, I imagine you already have a camera and can have the best of both worlds.

spending a grand on a computer will future proof THE FUCK out of it, it would probably last you like 20 years, cameras on the other hand, new shit comes out for consumers more often then computers id imagine, so if you wait to get the camera shit later on, itd probably go down in price more than a computer would (when youre in the 1k price range anyways)

thats just assumptions though, i dont know much about camera shit so maybe someone who does could confirm or deny

Buy a new computer, and then just download images of the things you were going to photograph. You can use this new application called 'instagram' to reinvent images and make it seem like you're an artist. Don't tell anyone about Instagram though, those who know of it are trying to keep it on the 'down-low'.
