Okay, So i'm installing Windows XP over my windows vista, and while installing on my C: drive, i get an error saying Cmnfig.xml cannot be copied. So I click retry which also has failed. I tried to quit the setup and start my vista, but I get an error, so i can't boot to my desktop. So now, I think i need to format my C drive.. But I don't know how to do that from the CD.. All it says is Install on C drive, or Delete Partition.. What should I do ?

Jimmy, Sorry I couldn't be of help, but all I know is that you should install over, can you make a new partition from that menu?

Delete the partition. Then it should give you a raw partition that you can full reformat or quick reformat.
