This is the story, I was using firefox mozilla to download an item and as soon as it finishes, it got a spyware alert. So i got rid of it but the "Install.exe" is still on my desktop. I cannot delete it..because it says it's in use. I tried restarting my computer, same error, it's been used. I terminate all non-system taks on taksmanager(alt+del+ctrl) and tried again but same result.

Please help.

Reboot into safe mode and try to delete it.

Now really, when you turn on your copmuter, it usually tells you which Function command to press.

If i open in safe mode, and then when i'm finished, if i reboot, it'll return to normal right?

yes just reboot and it will go into normal automatically
