Well, i heard great things of Python... Google uses it for it's search engine, mail and youtube. Huge companies use it... Is it worth learning?

Or should i just stick with PHP?

Also, how is perl for web programming?

They are all good.

Python is kind of like a super cleaned up version of Perl. Perl is quick and dirty, and if you use it the way most use it, you end up with ugly hackish code. On the other hand, it is fun to use Very Happy.

I would recommend trying them all, they each have their merits and are fun to learn.

I hate the idea of vulnerabilities...

I think, since i already know PHP...

I will start with web python! and maybe eventually get to Perl... maybe.


Anyone have tutorials on Python?

CGI with Perl? I think that's a great combo for web development. I, myself, am learning PHP.
