OK, I have heard some windows explorer errors have to do with ram but it is still possible it could be a virus. I think it is a virus because before it caused pop ups with internet explorer even though firefox is my default browser. After I moved IE to a different location since the virus doesn't know where my IE is the windows explorer stops working when I open a folder. Put Internet Explorer back and I get the pop ups again.

Scanned with Super Antispyware (Updated to latest) and it found nothing.

That's weird... Make sure you didn't do a quick scan, Virtumonde or Vundo can hide in very random places. Try again, or try hijackthis and scan. When you're done, submit the log file to Hijackthis.de

Try running, spybot seach and destroy in safemode.
Also do the same with your antivirus program.

Yeah, and if that doesn't work, try Malwarebytes Anti Malware

IE is tightly integrated with most Windows operating systems, moving IE will generally fuck you over.
