Cheat Engine

Whenever i try to run CoD 2 i get the message that DirectX has encountered an unpassable error. I dont understand. I pass the game recs fine. I have directx 10 (Vista Home Basic) and everything (not hardware transformation and lightning). I have tryed compability mode and safe mode. Why does this error occur?

Why should i reinstall directx. I am afraid to fuck up my computer. At what points will it help? Is it any other way to fix my problem?

My graphic card is a Intel GMA 950 for Mobile or it stands Intel Graphics Media Accelerator for Mobile. Will it be compatible to DX10.1.

Intel GMA series does not support some shading or something that cod2 uses, therefore it will not work.

Ps: my laptop has gma 950 and quake, half life and unreal engine games the best your going to get.

Technically you can run it with modded drivers so search around with google and youtube and you'll find a way.

COD2 has a DX7 fallback.

There's edited drivers for the GMA 950 that should work.

It's going to run like shit, but it will work.

Maybe try updating your vid cards and all that crap.

Try updating your graphics card drivers and Direct X.
