If my screen saver turns on will it interrupt my torrents or CD burning?
Also will that one power save mode interrupt either also...

it wont affect your torrents because they rely on your internet connection and i dont think it affects your cd burning because when your computer goes to power save it free's up some RAM which usually makes burning even faster

Well. Screensavers don't affect NORMAL downloading or TORRENT downloading. But sleep mode affects NORMAL downloading but not TORRENT. vmanisme, PRETTY sure you are correct there Very Happy

When put into sleep mode (Or hibernate), it WILL stop downloading. Both torrents and normal downloads. The networking is cut off to save power and cut down noise. Kat, why the hell would it affect one and not the other?

It will also stop CD burning, since it stops all un-needed drives, hard drive included.

Perhaps as I don't really use my vista and mainly use torrents on my desktop and vista is on my laptop.

powersave mode doesent affect my torrents either it continues downloading idk about burning though i've never tried that.
