My friend that works at microsoft gave me this thing that lets you upgrade to vista service pack 2.0 before it comes out. Its going to be out in a few month but if you want it now download the file below, right click on it and select run as administrator and then just look for updates manually Service pack 2.0 will come up.

This new Service Pack 2.0 fixes a lot of shit thats messed up in vista. I think my system started running way faster after this and my wireless became faster for some reason... my speed test gives me 50k speed before this i was getting 20k

It sets the registry in vista to enable 'beta' updates/software, which you can do manually by simply picking the option. Its nothing special, and certainly does not require a batch file to be written. An attempt at making it look L33t i'm guessing...

its SP2.0 beta, this is the latest Beta and the most stable one they got right now microsoft is thinking about making this the final one dont worry it wont make your system all buggy i got and using it right now with no problems your not seeing chinese letters instead of english right? lol

dont like it dont use it but i wanted my vista to be fixed today and not tomorrow dont like it then use a buggy vista for 4 more month and hope that it doesent kill your computer

Well i checked the code of the .bat, and it seems to be nothing malicious, but I tried running Windows Update and nothing comes up.

My internet speed is much faster, thank you a +rep. One problem is that I now can't run a set up cause it tells me that it can't find SP1 D:. I don't need it though, so ty Very Happy

you can always remove it but i found out that SP2.0 is a lot better i can now run all my Windows XP games no problems i use to get problems like not being able to detect processor or telling me that its not fast enough now i play and mess with everything =)

and yeah idk how Microsoft got internet going but they did a good job maybe they are doing some work instead of play WoW and eating doughnuts all day long... =)

thanks I'm going to change to vista ubuntu is giving me problems and now that i here most of vista bugs are fixed with SP2

yep i went from Windows XP x64 to Vista x64 when i got this, not planning to downgrade anymore =)
