I think this is administration issue. Play around with system administrators or PM Dark Byte and see if he knows whats going on because i use Ubuntu too and i've never had this issue, maybe its because i got both Ubuntu, Windows XP PRO x64 and Vista Ultimate x64 but i dont think thats it because they're on different hard drives, yes i got 4 hard drives in my system dont ask why......

Lol'd at this thread.

Cheat engine (As far as I'm concerened) uses many functions only available on Windows. That, and Linux works ALOT different to Windows. The kernel is completely different.

This won't work, but you could give it a try by running both CE and the app to be hacked with WINE.

The only problem, is with accessing the kernel. That's used to byspass GG, but there's no point anymore since there are no UCE's anyway.

We do not need you biased opinions. It could suck for you, but be 10x better than Windows for others...

Also, i am suprised you could even open Ce on ubuntu....

I was also shocked that CE would open on ubuntu... I couldn't open firefox on Ubuntu... Ubuntu can't open .exes...

Well, with Wine and/or Mono you can run .exes...

Also, Firefox made a Linux version.

It is preinstalled in ubuntu (AFAIK).
