specs

Mobo: 750i sli ftw
CPU: q6600 oc to 3.0
Ram: 4gb ddr2 1066
HDD: SATA 500gb (1)
Rom Drives: 2
burner: 1
fan: like 5 led 140mm

a lot of people say i will get away with 650w, i even used some psu calculator.

just to make sure, will a 650w tx corsair work?

You didn't specify the video card?

Nonetheless, that's a solid PSU and should handle any single card setup with ease.

I"m running a similar build (including OC'd CPU and GPU, with an 8800GS using a free after MIR 400W PSU. I would say 450-500W at the most, maybe a bit more if you're going with a dual GPU setup.

Those things would probably use around 200W at full load, so you're fine.

What's more important than wattage is the efficiency of the power supply.

Yes its enought, I use 2x 8800GT on a 500watt (sonata III) and it works like a charm.

Tho I would suggest you to consider buying 2x 4850 instead.

yeah thats enough most video cards need only 400 watt or 500 watt on SLI so you got enough

Asus P5Q (the Pro version looks good too if you're going CrossFire) or the Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R.
