|
|
My laptop running vista (partition due to multiple OS) is running out of hard drive space. Currently I am clearing almost everything either completely, or putting it on an external hd. Add/Remove programs states that CE is 283 MB currently. I am wondering if this is incorrect, or if I should just delete CE, and install to my portable. I am trying to run vista on a 7 gig partition, and don't want to waste the space. I will completely understand if this is just vista, because Knoppix states that CE is under 10MB, along with a couple of other OSs.
Thanks for the aid,
nasajd

when you scan ce will create scan files for the current scan. And scanning a 250MB process can then take up 250B diskspace.
But those files tend to be deleted when you normally close ce

| Vista does things like that. You may find that the CE directory doesn't contain any files totalling that size. Manually check it out...
