I'd like to be able to do a bit more on my school computers, they have nearly everything disabled and you can't do much. All shortcuts are disabled, can't use notepad, can't right click outside a program, , task manager, nothing in start menu other than some programs and logging on/offand other stuff. Also, they disabled flash drives. I can't think of anything I could do to lift some of these restrictions. OS is WinXP Pro.

Also disabled(forgot to metion):
CMD
Run

See if you can get to command prompt if you can then you can be the god in your school server.

Open Command Prompt (Start>Run>cmd>Ok) or (Start>All Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt)
Type: net localgroup administrators YOURUSERNAME (type exactly how your windows username is) /add

EXAMPLE:
net localgroup administrators username /add

This will make your account an administrator and you'll be able to control anyones account (including the principal and network administrators) plus you'll be able to watch porn on a school computer how cool? lol

I doubt they allow CMD prompt, even so, I HIGHLY doubt they don't have a restriction so you can't do net localgruop administrators username /add.

Schools don't what you kids fooling around with their systems because it can cost lots of money just to fix it.

IF you want to change settings or so on, do it on your own computer.

This is a pointless thread.

i don't know if you don't understand or if you're a moron. he said command prompt is blocked, as it should be, and i highly doubt task manager is enabled, that's like the easiest and most important thing to disable.

At my school task manager doesn't have File>New Task so his won't likely either also if it didn't block File>New Task and he did type in cmd it still would say that its blocked by administrator. Try going into system32 and running command.com

go to safemode at your school like right when the computer boots up click F8 or F9 a few times (F9 for me) then get into account called administrator and change your account rights from there, find your account and then make it an administrator.
