I'm trying to create an instant messager that only sends messages through my families network. I'm new at this and have the layout but have no idea what to put it for it to do the functions I want it to.
It is attached. Any help would be great~

The Extension 'zip' was deactivated by an board admin, therefore this Attachment is not displayed.

It'd be wise to either read up on winsock, look into the net.sockets API, or to try an already done networking library (Lidgren is my pick for .net
languages)

yea. But if you're new, you don't want to do that. Try just doing a math formula first. My first was Fibonacci sequence.

You could use C4F to create such applications.
http://www.microsoft.com/express/samples/c4fp2p/default.aspx

On the other hand it's better to get into sockets and do it urself.

It is possible to do it in VB though.
