Vista doesn't recognise when I've changed my multiplier? because I'm actually running at 440x8 (about the highest i can get with my 800Mhz RAM)
but Vista reports as if I'm running 4Ghz

440x8?
Thats only about 3.4Ghz.
Why is it reading so much? :<

I see from CoreTemp.
Must be some bug. You just had it running at 4Ghz, right?

440x8 SHOULD put it at 3.52Ghz
i fucking shat myself when it said 4Ghz that's why i put coretemp up right away incase i damaged something
also CPU-Z says it should be 3.52, and i haven't gone higher since my memory won't let me.

currently mem is at 880Mhz 4-4-4-12 which I'm happy with compared to what it was on 390x9 (790Mhz 4-4-4-12)

why does Vista say 4Ghz though? scary shit! anyone elses did this?

I wouldn't worry.
CPU-Z is showing you the correct clock speed.
