Visual Studio 6 - Shockwave Componant Not Displaying Correct

Ok, I have a portable Visual Basic 6 that is compatible with vista an i don't get any errors when using it.

However, when i go to make a trainer for a flash game i right click the bar at the side, click componants then scroll down to "shockwave flash" and click it then click ok.

The problem is that the icon displays but it appears all black and when i click it and drag it onto my form i can't edit it's propertys.
