does it use the same code?

i usually use vb6 cause its better (better compatiblity, better coding interface)

but in school they have vb2008 the lessons was boring so i tested some codes they all worked

(except i couldnt use text1.text + text2.text with numbers to calculate but thats no real difference i just used integer)

vb6 is vb, while vb 2008 is vb.net.

There's not much difference but some stuff have been taken off, some taken in.

I know you can't use "any" anymore and stuff. I forget. Basically, it's the same with some editing.

oh for the textbox, try
dim total as integer

total = Int32.Parse(TextBox1.Text) + Int32.Parse(TextBox2.TExt)
MsgBox(total.tostring)

yea.

Ya, minor changes.

Like in vb6 swfs are shockwaveflash, in vb08 swfs are axshockwaveflash and other tiny things like that.

im not stupid i've known how to fix it Confused just was an example of a difference i found Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation

it works with

Code:
dim a as integer
dim b as integer
dim c as integer
a = text1.text
b = text2.text
c = a + b
text3.text = c

i dont understand your code therefor i ALWAYS make my own ones
