ummm let say there is a timer for any game... how would we hack that?
like the values probably consist of HH:MM but like what type of data would that be?
well let say the time can be paused at 3:28, how would i search or punch that into the search bar? o_0

It's probably stored as 2 separate variables, both 4 bytes. Or it may be stored as 1 number in total minutes, 4 bytes.

Could be stored as floating number (?)
e.g. 03:45 = 3.45

It could be stored in any way the developers felt like storing it. So if none of these work, try anything else you can think of.

I've tried multiple ways in Battlefield 2 demo, but i can't seem to find the right address, I've tried it these ways, first hit the pause button , then search:
-Number of minutes
-Number of seconds
-Total amount of seconds (e.g. 9:45 = 585 seconds)
(all of the above in 4 bytes in exact values)
-Floating number (e.g. 9:45 = 9.45)
-I haven't tried an unknown initial value since it would take about an hour to do so, and then there is still the possibility that it isn't stored that way
Anyone got any other suggestions?

Why would it take an hour to find something with an initial value? Hotkeys my friend, hotkeys. Just making sure, but your on single player, right? If not then the value is probably stored server side.

And it is not for that reason, my pc is too slow to search through every value in Battlefield 2, it's not about switching from C.E. from Battlefield 2,
but it takes 10 minutes on my pc to search from unknown initial value to decreased value.
Thanks anyway |
Open the settings in CE
Open up (Configure Hotkeys)
Set the keys for whatever you want. I use hotkeys 95% of the time.
Makes finding an eddress alot faster.
Next time you search unknown initial value, wait about 1-2min to do your decreased value or whatever your doing.
Works for me with faster scans. Might work for you too.
If it doesnt work, try enabling (fast scan)
