Hey CEF.

I've intended to learn flash for a while now, but I think it's pretty difficult to find a homepage, a book or alike, that explains it, and teaches you well..

Basically, I would like to create small flash games, to dumb on some website. But what is the best way to learn doing that? Or could you point me in the right direction of it? I hate copypaste, so, a place where they teach you basics step by step etc..

I'm kinda in a hurry, so I appologize for a not-so-well-written post, but please understand.

Plus, I'm unsure about if this is the right section? Flash Games section, is only for games I thought, so I went here.

Creating games in flash is easy, cause of the easy movement of graphics and flexability with the animations.
Basically now with ActionScript 3.0, the AS3 scripting languages' basics works like any programming language you can find today.

Variables, declarations, classes, functions, everything exists in AS3 exception of outside function calls, etcetera. But then again it's still a scripting language so it should'nt be able to.
I suggest reading the basics of programming in over all, then go deeper in to calculating gravity, friction, speed and what-not.
