I agree with slovach 100 percent. The time you spend doing vb, you could be spending on a good and useful programming language like C/C++.

vb is easier to use and learn, and in most typical cases can do what C/C++ can. its not often you will need to use C/C++

VB Can not do all of what c/C++ can do. Also, C languages run faster and smoother and overall have more flexibility than VB does.

We're talking about game hacking and the likes here, it's highly unlikely you wont need to do something with C/C++ that VB just cannot do ( not suck? )...

I can't tell which is the best but i strongly recommend you to use vb for easy and simple and c for difficult but useful and high-leveled programming
and i recommend you to use other language like python too!

here's some fun cartoon what i got from OpenRCE.org kkk
python was kinda a little bit of confusing for me but i think it's fun and simple to use!

VB can do everything that C/C++ can.. just need some libraries in some cases.. as C/C++ always needs them too..

anyhow... you can strart from w.e you wantsit dose'nt stupid matters, it's all up to you way to understand the logic which will take the time.. this is a """hacking""" forum, which in the most of case, the programming goes to a low lvl, in that case, it would be better for you to learn ASM isntead.. but the begin.. dose'nt matter at all, if you got all the time of the world to learn everyday.
