[Localhost]

I am going to make a program (similar to CPanel) to control my webserver, FTP server, IRC server, SSH server, mail server (incoming and outgoing)...

Though i am not sure if i should make it either of these ways:

1st way:
Is that you go to my website on a certain port and login. It will basically be a small lightweight HTTP server running a PHP script. After you (the admin) login to PHP script, you can control the configurations VIA the browser.

2nd way:
Is that you open up a program...(has a GUI) You type in the port, domain/ip of the server, username and password. It would connect you to a small server to process all your silly requests like configuring your IRC server, restarting your webserver...

They can do the SAME exact thing, though one is via a web browser, and one is via a program.

The second one would be much harder/more time consuming... Though i jut want your opinions.

Use the first way. It's alot simpler IMO
