|
|
Computer Specs:
Windows Xp SP3
2.5 gigs Ram
Intel Quad Core 2 Q9300 @ 2500 (I overclocked to 3000)
Asus Formula A Striker II Motherboard (The ROG one)
Nvidia e-GeForce 9800 Gx2 (Dual GPU) 1 GB DDR3 Ram (overclocked the frequency to 120% still runs cool)
I think that's all that should be needed. Okay anyways how can i "overclock" my fan speed. My case temp ranges from 20.C - 23. C but my CPU runs @ about 45. C I'm sure someone is whining about that being normal and that i did overclock it but until i get water cooling i'm stuck with this stupid fan. Anyways how can i increase the fan speed. I'm sure i can make it go like apeshit which is what i'm looking for until i can get water cooling and just overclock the shit outa it. Anyways any help would be appreciated.

The fan is a hardware I believe. I don't think there is anyway to make it a big difference using a program on a computer. I think you can change out the motor that can you also wire on a control setting. But that might be tiresome for you and I think it's better if you just bought a fan that can includes a speed control.

Will putting some magnets wear it out to soon? I have to big earth magnets sitting here waiting to pump up the RPM's

Oh you mean use magnets to spin the fan blades faster?

Dude you could have the CPU up to 80 then after that its starting to get unstable.
Don't worrie at all.
It's not warm, you could have it 24/7 at 70 if you want.
Regards Humper
