I used to have 6 rep, now it disappeared... Does anybody know what happened? I cant even check to see if I was mass de-reped or something

Positive rep expires after 4 months, negative after 3.

But if you get -1 or less you get bad reputation.
Otherwise its like no one cares.

Actually, if you have -1 rep, that means no one likes you. If you have -5 or less, you're awesome.
