In my website I'm trying to setup a contact page with a mail form. It uses mail.php to send the email. When I tested it it failed and gave me this warning:

well just read the error. What is your smtp_port set to in the php.ini file?
EDIT: Lol, just realized you took that code from w3schools

Yup. Its copy paste code cuz I was too lazy to read up on using PHP for mail lol.

But as for the error, are you trying to use all this on a home server?

Are you sure your server is set up to use SMTP?

And make sure the php.ini file on your server is correctly configured.
