i need help getting past something in HL2


i keep getting killed by those naked things in the core place
the naked things are those aliens with the big floppy asses.


HL2 ep1.

and i dont want to kill them cuz im trying to get an achievement ._.

im supposed to shoot energy balls at the energy ball receiver thingys on the wall, but as i open bridge of light and shiny lazers, the floppy assed aliens shut it down and i fall to my certain doom ._.

its in the beginning.

like you have to stop the core thing from blowing up.

i've beaten the game before but i just killed the floppy assed aliens and went like nothing ever happened, but im trying to get an achievement which i cant kill them or something ._.
