Will it still work in a DVD player? Would I have to write a script to make a menu?

It'll work, it will show up as a menu auto.

yes, and u can also put multiple episodes on 1 dvd, which is what i do for my anime.

depends what format you use, if you covert a 700mb avi to dvd format it will end up filling a dvd and there wont be room for another
