for some reason my internet keeps reseting so if Im playing on xbox live I get disconnected its very annoying. the internet light on my modem goes off at random times and comes back on about 10 seconds later.

Maybe you gotta turn off modem completely for 10 seconds then turn on?

Is your modem plugged in fully. Something could be disrupting the physical connection of the modem.

I've tried resetting many times now and it has had no effect.

What you should do is reset the modem. Find the little reset button on the bottom and press that sucker and then leave your modem alone for a lil while to reconfigure itself. If that doesn't work, the best thing to do is contact the tech support because different modems behave differently to errors and you have no idea what that error is and neither do I so I can't really help anymore then that.

you could always ring up your isp and ask them if they're having any problems. sometimes it's their end, not yours.
