I know that having the right internet connection helps your computer go faster, but I don't (modem dial-up). Is there any software that can help speed up things a bit. Such as for playing games online, trying to download stuff, or even in general "speeding it up".
*I have Vista... and it sucks...

I would suggest downgrading if you can and wait until Vista is good, or Windows 7, which will probably be out by the time Vista is good anyway. But as long as you are running a 32-bit Vista you can download TuneUp Utilities and Diskeeper to optimize windows. Bootvis can help speed up boot time. If you're running 64-bit Vista the software might have 64-bit distros, but it probably won't. Since Tuneup and Diskeeper cost money you can PM me for warez.

You might want to re-consider to get a faster internet provider.

Hmmm... Thx a lot for the help (and everyone else) but I think I'm good. I'll probably downgrade it, but I bought one of the newer PC's that already had Vista. But nonetheless I'll either downgrade it or get a faster internet connection (hopefully).
Well thanks again everyone.
