I just recently got my pc back and got one of those 25 feet long wires for the ethernet but when I plugged it in and went on youtube I couldn't hear any thing

1. Check if the wires are connected correctly (for the sound devices to your speakers/output device).
2. Un-mute the volume
3. Install the latest sound drivers. _________________
1. I checked the wires and they are connected fine.
2. The icon on the bottom of screen shows the volume is not muted.
3. Can't find where the drivers are...

-Check device manager and see if your sound drivers are installed or not.
-Make sure your speakers are actually "turn on" or the speaker
volume is turn up.
-Play a music or movie from your computer (not from the Internet) and see if you get sound out of it.
-IF your using onboard HD Audio, when a speaker jack is plugged in,
the speaker software setup screen should pop-up.
Make sure you select the right speaker setup otherwise there will be no
sound at all.
