is it ?

Not right now, but is there really a need for that?
It's going to allocate 4KB anyhow (and it's recommended to allocate at least 64KB)

Which reminds me: Could you update that 2kb in the default code template to 4kb (or 64)?

i think that for people like me that uses 100% ASM on their codes yes, it would help a lot to alloc in hex 0x... .

By writing alloc(newmem, bla bla you make your code not 100% ASM already. And whats the point of writing 7FF instead of 2047 ... Its only additional coding for DB and gives nothing.
