ok, wierd thing,
my scroll bar has gone nuts,
it seems to have a mind of its own, it moves to the bottom of the screen, then up, then down, really fast.
I was afraid this was a virus, so I formatted the computer.
The problem is still there, I don't think its hardware, but has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone have a solution?
+ rep if helped

oh yeah sometimes I get this to. Like once in a while. It's just your mouse probably. When the page is scrolling down, just purposefully scroll down with the mouse or if you have a scroll wheel, click using the scroll wheel and scroll down with it, same if it goes up. It should fix it.

pull your mouse out and see if it stops. if it does then it's a problem with your mouse.

ok, its not just IE its everything, even the task manager wouldn't let me scroll up (this is why I thought it was a virus, stopping me from closing apps)
it may be the mouse, although I have never had this problem before, its really strange.
