Cheat Engine

I just started programming and im beginning to grasp the concepts behind it, but i havnt fully decided which one i should do, either java or c++. Which one would you choose to learn and why?

Well Java is a 'hot' language right now, but C++ jobs are paying higher. C++ can be ported accross platforms with some, or alot of changes. Java can be used on tons of platforms without any changes. C++ can be used to hack easier (I think...). Some C++ compilers are open source, Java isn't. I wouldn't learn Java because it cannot compile, it is compiled into byte code which is read by the VM... So they need Java installed.

Choose the one that fits your needs. I would go with C++ because in my career I wouldn't use Java as much. (But I do plan on learning Java in a year or two to use with Jython.

C++ period because unless you mean Java SCRIPT Java iself takes knowledge of C++ to make larning easier.
