FUCK.
I'm in need of some help. I accidently dropped my brother's Toshiba Satellite M45, and the screen cracked inside. All you can see is what was there when it cracked, and a 1 inch line where i can see the desktop and mouse. Suggestions? He's coming back in a day or two. I'm thinking of replacing it, but I don't know if I can do it.

Couple years old, warranty's most likely expired.
I found a tutorial on how to replace what's broken, but the materials I need I can only find on the internet(eBay, suppliers)
However, my uncle works in a computer company so I think he can fix it.
 I'm screwed.

And no, I doubt your uncle can fix a broken LCD screen, unless that is what he specializes in.

You can send your brother's laptop to them and they'll repair it, at a fee of course. The price is supposed to be 25-50% lower than having the manufacturer repair it.
