Hey Guys,
Well for my latest project i needed to use the windows media player feature so i laid it out on the main form and then i typed in the URL of the Streaming website which if i enter in mozilla firefox it will play so when i was all done i ran it and when i click play nothing happens, i right click the media player and it says error file i click and it says codec required or something

Please Help

Tried - ACE Mega Pack Codecs -Failure
Convolver Audio DSP - Works ( registered to the prog ) but still cant play

You may be trying to run a stream which is only compatible for a certain media player e.g. WinAMP or RealPlayer.

Try using a stream from www.sky.fm.

if the site is only for one type of player, unless you get a good plugin, theres not much you can do

if it is a codec problem, im sure you could find a solution to make it playable by other things

Would that mean all the people i released it too would have to download the plugin? If so mind guessing/suggesting any plugins?

Otherwise do you know any idea of how to get a different player on VB08EE
