Replace the hard drive with one from a reputable brand such as Western Digital. A hard drive is the last place you want to cheap out.
Also, I don't see a PSU in there other than the one that comes with the case, and I hope to god you don't actually plan on using that.

I found a Western Digital that was also 80GB, only 5 bucks more.
If i'm not going for a high performance gaming computer, do i still need a different power supply?

You shouldn't need a new PSU. Mostly people don't use the PSU that comes with cases because they have a tenancy of being crappy, but if you don't go anywhere near the PSU 's capacity you wont have any problems.
Also you can save 5$ by getting a:

Which is a Hitachi 320 GB HD for 50$ (with free shipping), which would only be 3$ total more than your current HD choice (after you add in the shipping).
There are some cheaper 160GB HD's out there, but after shipping is included they actually cost more than the 320GB does. Hitachi has a 160GB HD for 41.99$ + 8.55$ (shipping)= 50$+, while WD has one thats 43.99$ + 8.55$ (shipping)= 52$+.
I'm going to look through what you have currently and see if there's a piece of equipment rated higher with free shipping that would cost the same as what your currently looking at.
Always look for the best deals, free shipping can do amazing things. =P

What is your maximum budget? $300? If you can invest $50 more, then you can get a considerably better computer (dual core, more RAM, larger hard drive).
Also, look around other retailers unless you are really stuck with Newegg. Although Newegg is usually good with prices, other retailers occasionally have really awesome deals (for example, 2GB DDR2-800 Crucial Ballistix for $15).

I don't have a very good budget, as I'm only in high school.
I haven't updated the list at the top, its now 320GB HD and 2 gig ram.

I would rather him have a c2d, but the problem is the cheapest one that I've found is about 50$ more than what he's chosen. And I don't know which mobos support Pentium dual core, because he could get a E2200 for 30$ more than his current cpu choice.
(And I personally trust newegg more than other retailers. So for me its just a personal preference.)
But if you got a case that was just functional, you could grab a different mobo and the better cpu, and you still should be able to find ram easily.

Just a random thought, but have you looked at AMD?

You could get these and keep the RAM you have now:
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600 56.50$ free shipping
Mobo: PC CHIPS A13G+ 44.99$ + 8.97$ shipping= 53.96$ - 10$ mail in rebate = 43.96$
Though you could get this, or something similar if you want to future proof the computer.

Pentium Dual Core is based on the Intel Core 2 microarchitecture, and the only difference is that Core 2 Duos and Core 2 Quads have more L2 cache compared to the Pentium Dual Core.
All you really need is an E2180. Pentium Dual Cores are very good at overclocking, most can hit 3GHz if you have a good motherboard and RAM. You could get an MSI P31 Neo-F to go with it. 1GB more of RAM should cost you about $10, and a larger hard drive should also only cost about $10, so you'll only have to add about another $50 to your budget.
If you are going with AMD, try to get the cheapest dual cores (4200+, 4400+), and use the rest of the money to get a better motherboard. I wouldn't really recommend the PC Chips motherboard that Mazeura suggested, but you don't really have a huge choice of motherboards under $50.
