ya my speakers echo and only when they are hooked up to my computer.
they are fine when i hook them up to my mp3.

Sounds like you have some settings that need to be adjusted. If you are using a more recent sound card, most come with their own audio adjustment setting program. Which also includes the ability to change equalizer settings. Most of the time this can be found inside the Control Panel. Or an icon for it may be in your tray bar.
If you can find them there, check the manufacturers site for more info on the card to see if they have a configurable program themselves. Also check the program(s) you are using to play the music to ensure the settings are not messed with.

Are they Logitech X530?
I had the same problem.
The problem was I had an old empty HDD, so bought an enclosure and ran the HDD, When the HDD was on, My X530'z used to echo and sqreeeeeeeshhh

Either EAX or...let me go find the name of it. Its most likely EAX though.
Edit: Its EAX. I was thinking another feature could've been doing it but I'm just crazy.

| That happened to me, thought it was the sound card, but I had two of the same sound cards on different computers and one worked fine, Mine was the driver installed on the computer already (compatible) and the software downloaded, I got the driver from my sound card cd and installed that software and stuff and it worked fine. Ehh Probably different though
