I got an old 40gb HD from a lab-top, and when we bought a new HD for my sister (who melted her HD), my Dad wished to buy a new one aswell (He bought a 250gb instead of his old 40gb O.o), wich ment that we now got one HD we dont need...

Then, i realised, that the HD would fit inside my 20gb USB HD, and now i wish to swich that HD Very Happy

Well, to the actual question:
How would i delete anything from my HD. I put it in my USB, and connected it to my comp, and i can easyly browse through the HD. I deleted anything stored at the HD (Windows and all of my dads programs and such...) but i still got a few files that i cant delete!, how would i delete those?, the files that i cant delete is:
Code:
H:\Documents and Settings\Camilla\Local Settings\Temp\hsperfdata_Camilla\2896 (file named 2896)
H:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX\AcroIEHelper.dll
H:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX\AcroPDF.dll
H:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX\pdfshell.dll

Are those files listed based on your computer or is it on your USB?
If it's on your computer, try unregistering and unloading the .DLL's and make sure none of those are currently being used.
But otherwise, if you're trying to delete everything on your HDD, have you ever attempted to think about formatting your computer? If not, I'd recommend it and it's much easier if you're thinking of deleting everything "manually".

If you don't need the data on the drive then just format it.
