Cant burn things to an empty CDI

I jsut bought 25 cds with a capacity of 4.7 gigabyte but when i put in my CD ROM the my compter station :F changes from DVD RAM station to CD Station :F but when i try to move any files into it it says theirs a problem and i can try again but nothing happens.

Btw Do i need to do something speacial if I DL a movie from piratebay.org and i want to watch it on my DVD?

Dam so i the thing i bought is called DVD R! And then what things can i store on it? Cause in may windows media plaayer it calls the cd Blank CD

You need a DVD writer

you need a dvd burner to burn dvd
