I am playing warhammer 40k dawn of war. It is an RTS, and I am trying to hack the resources. Requisition and Power. I can easily hack them and get infinite resources. But the addresses change every time and I can't find the pointer.

I know how to find pointers. I rightclick the address, find out what writes to it. I go in-game, let the resource rise on its own... 1 instruction shows up on the cheat engine. I go in-game, build something, and a second instruction shows up. (1 instruction is when the value increases, the other is when it decreases).

Alright, so when the click more info on either of them, the value in the brackets is EAX. EAX has the same value as the address. (for the sake of numbers, lets say my requisition address is 111111, the EAX value is also 111111. )For either of the 2 instructions, it is like this. So I go to 4-byte hex scan, put in the EAX value, 111111, and nothing comes up.

So I need help here.... oh ya, the address, 1111111 is a float value. Does that maybe have anything to do with it?

Thanks. Any help would be appreciated Smile
