Every file posted here, I will scan ASAP.

Are you posting a binary that someone MIGHT think is a virus? post your scan results using Jotti or Virus Total.

I'm like a scanbot. Laughing

While it is appreciated that you are willing to do this, it will be moderators that will handle that. No offense, but it can be abused by normal members when posting scan results stating that a file is clean yet it might actually be infected. So don't worry about it.

With the restrictions that are placed on this section to make posts, I don't think that it will get an overflow of files or anything. The section has been up for 2 full days now and still no posts which for this forum is pretty odd. So don't think we will have too many issues.

This section isn't just limited to me moderating it as well, even though the forum says it's only me as a moderator, all the moderators of CEF can moderate this section. It is a group effort for this section to keep things clean.

I don't think people know about this section yet. We should put a topic in Computer Talk and in General Programming, the main section, introducing the binary section.

If they dont look at the forums, then thats why they dont know about it.
That one of the main problems now people posting all over the place and not reading category & topics name.
Just posting where ever they want, and you would think this would be well known rule across the board since every single forum i have ever seen on the internet has this very rule to post in proper sections.
And every single one has people who dont read.

When people can't find a good place to put stuff, they normally look around. I don't think we'll see any more binaries without source in GP.

There are rules, read them. As the rules state, 0 tolerance, you break the rules, you are gone.
