Yes, otherwise they wouldn't exist.

People that have no knowledge in computers and have a lot of money will definitely waste it on that if they think that it is "The Best".

No it would not be. More powerful PC's are being build and are cheaper then buying the parts and building it yourself these days compared to how it used to be.

That pc would/could be used by game developers most likely. So this market stand point is targeting that aspect of sales rather then personal. Altho there are im sure individuals paying that much for a pc.

They want to add almost $400 for the upgrade from an 8800 -> 9800gx2? Yeah, that's really cheaper than buying it yourself. The upgrade price is practically that of buying the card itself. Building it yourself will ALWAYS be the superior option. I could easily beat this computers performance for a third of the price. (link starts out at about $6700)

If you think developers are creating shit only on $8000 alienware's, you're hilariously wrong.
