By "official" I mean games with a feeling of well-made-ness to them (Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved, Insaniquarium deluxe, Ricochet: Lost worlds, etc. unlike Uplink, Everyday Shooter, Bullet Candy etc.)
Anyway, When I preform any kind of scan on games like those I get the following error message:
| Ceat Engine 5.4 wrote: | | Scan error:thread 1:Acces violation at adress 004A2ED8 in module 'Cheat Engine.exe'. Read of address 7FE1000 |
What does that mean and what am I doing wrong?

run ce, go to the task manager, and choose cheat engine.exe
rightclick and choose set affinity. Untick all cpu's except one.
That error should now be gone

But sometimes, I'm really scared of deleting the main processes of the comp., resulting in a breakdown...
