im running a netgear WG111v2 adapter on vista and it has issues with its auto configuring. I was wondering if anyone knows a good program that can take over for its service and do it better?

No i want a program to replace windows Wlan service its like xp's wireless zero configuration and sucks just as much.

install your latest vista drivers for your WLAN from their site. a similar thing sometimes happened to me when i was running Vista.

Is it maybe because the internet signal is weak ? I don't think so right?
