i just reformatted and installed a new os. when im watching dvd's on my comp, about 1/6th of the frames are black, and it runs really slowly. what is the most likely problem?

Maybe it is a problem with your video card or something?

From the website where you bought your computer or motherboard from, look up the model number and look for it's drivers.

Use a program like GPU-Z to get your video card make and model number (I think it gives that info (If not, Everest home edition does)) and then search on their site for the drivers for said card.

Make sure you also have any codecs you need installed. K-Lite codec pack is very good.
