I need Ideas about the topic Youth and protest, anyone?? I need help ;S
Relevant topics may be:
In what ways have young people protested against adult society?
- Clothes
- Music, Movies, Literature
- Way of living
- Drugs, Tobacco, Alcohol

Do you know any other protest movements?
- Civil rights Movement?
- South Africa/Apartheid
- IRA and the northern Irish fight for civil rights.
Is it important for you to protest against your parents or the established society? In which ways do you do that? |

Clothes - Only idiots change their clothing to show protest to something. Idiots like emos/goths/punks/etc.
Music, Movies, Literature - I doubt that anyone in their right mind uses multimedia to 'rebel'. Rather some may use it to find a common emotion that they can relate to (such as an emo faggot putting on a song about being a faggot/hated by everyone)
Way of Living - Rather radical but I guess that's possible, people often move out of their parent's houses to rebel and what-not. The problem with saying something as broad as 'way of life' allows it to be anything.
Drugs, Tobacco, Alcohol - To be honest I don't think anyone would use drugs to rebel, or in spite of the 'adults'. Most people use drugs for enjoyment and/or an escapism complex.
Civil Rights Movement - Idealistic idiots.
South Africa/Apatheid - Nuke it.
IRA - Sociopathic idiots who got guns.

No? Rebelling against parents is a juvenile concept in most cases. Unless your parents are slave-masters and whip you daily you don't have any real reason to 'rebel'. Who gives a fuck if they won' buy you those new sneakers? They're giving you food, a roof over your head, what more could you ask for? |
